Prong change on a stock Brian Gavin setting?

Do they ever allow slight modifications such as this - for example, prongs clawed out instead of rounded, or would I have to order the whole thing completely custom? Has anyone had any experience with this?

At one point I was considering a setting from them, but I wanted six prongs instead of the four prongs the ring was designed with. I think it was like a $100 or $150 charge to change the prongs and the six prongs would be a slightly different style than the four prongs. Not sure if that helps.

Pointy prongs are something done at finishing, so ask them if they can do that for you and they should be able to point the ends for you

Ditto; there is typically no extra charge (or very little) to alter the prong tip style.

Thanks guys! That's what I was hoping to hear. :) That opens my range of possibilities for a stock setting.
