Hi all! I was wondering if anyone has used any online vendors for their programs? Or if anyone has done any VERY SIMPLE and EASY DIY programs? I had planned to use the company that printed my wedding invites. However I've had issue after issue with them. The most recent being that 8 of my invites had the words "Escape the Ordinary. . . " on the back!!! HELLO?!?! So I've sent them an email of my concerns and my worries about proceeding with programs. I'm ~2 months from the wedding and have not done any program research as I thought I already had that all figured out! I hate DIY stuff that involves printing. So I'm hesitant to go that route, but if I could find an online vendor that has good reviews I'd consider that route. TIA!

I am looking on Etsy. The problem is that my programs were going to cost me $1/each. That was very affordable. The ones I'm finding on Etsy are quite a bit more than that. . . .

For an easy DIY program, I would just print a program on nice paper and tie with ribbon that matches your wedding colors. If you go somewhere like Office Depot, b&w printing is super cheap. Depending on how many pages you think your program will end up, you could make the outer cover a colored page.

If you wanted a simple decorative accent, Paper Source has great stamps that would be lovely on the cover. Depending on the feel of your wedding, something like a flower or a flourish.

Martha Stewart has a cover page where you add your date: http://www.marthastewartweddings.com/article/click-print-program-covers?backto=true&backtourl=/photogallery/25-perfect-programs#slide_12

This website has instructions on tying the whole thing together: http://www.do-it-yourself-weddings.com/wedding-program-instructions.html

Here is some program wording: http://www.perfect-wedding-day.com/wedding-ceremony-program.html

OR! Another alternative is to use Zazzle! They have wedding programs starting as little as $.35 each! From just a quick glance, and not knowing anything about your wedding other than that your dress rocks, I think these are lovely: two hearts, red and black, aqua flourish.

Hey Sillyberry -

Thanks for reminding me of Zazzle. I've actually found a few that might do the trick. I wonder how the quality is and what the paper they are printed on is like?

Our colors are mostly black and pink. Silver and white here and there. The programs were going to match the invites. But since the invites were custom, I won't be able to match them if I don't stick with this company.

Speaking of that company, I have not yet received a reply to my email. So that is very diappointing to say the least. I wasn't rude or snotty. It was well worded and listed my concerns. :( Oh well. . . gotta move on to plan B.

We made our own. We used a heavier weight paper ordered from paper presentation. Holding the paper horizontal, we folded it to make a three column program. We printed on both sides of the paper - so one side (the outside) had the right outside flap (when folded) all the way to the left, the back panel in the middle, and the cover in the left column. The other side (the inside) had the three columns. The one on the left listed the wedding party, the 2nd column was the wedding program, and the third column listed our "In Honor" and "In Memory" guests who could not be there with us.

It was pretty easy actually and they looked great. We were using a Martha Stewart corner puncher on all four corners, folded them in threes, and then tied them secure with raffia. They worked great.

We also "made" our own.

I bought some heavy 130# cover stock from Bosworth Paper Company because most of the printing places I found only had 110# card stock, and I wanted a very thick paper similar to our Checkerboard invitations. I found that QwikPrint had the best pricing for thermography (raised ink) printing. I worked up the design and gave them a PDF. They printed on my paper and even cut them without wasting any sheets. I guess they did their testing on scrap paper they had, instead of on my paper. It ended up costing about $1.20 per program, but I still have like 40 sheets of the cover stock for future projects.

I ordered mine from Catprint.com on Friday. If you have the design in a Word or PDF file already, you can upload the file to their website, and they will print them for you at a pretty inexpensive price. We chose the stapled booklet style. You can also email or call them if you have questions. They did our wedding invitations, and they came out nicely and arrived within 5 days of placing the order.

My wedding was in September, but I was pretty happy with my programs so I thought I would chime in. I have NO idea how I found them, but just wanted something REALLY simple, two sided, one with the order of events/music selections, etc., other side with the wedding party and possibly a little personal thanks or personal message.

I found Wiregrass Weddings online, no idea how I found them actually! They are out of Alabama (my wedding was in Chicago) and were super easy to work with. Their initial proof wasn't totally what I wanted (which was most entirely my fault!) and I basically drew all over the proof, changed the font/wording, you name it, and within 2 hours they had a new PERFECT one emailed to me. Don't feel too constrained by the examples they show, if you show them what they want, they will do it! They were so sweet along the way and extremely prompt with shipping (and I thought very reasonably priced, as I did not want to spend a ton on something people look at for 20 minutes and then throw away!!).

This is the link to their programs site, but I think they've redesigned it a bit and have quite a bit more on there than I recall! Good luck!!!
