Both my sister and I have 14kt wg snake chains (16") that we wear our diamond pendants on. These are at most 3 months old. Yesterday, we both noticed that the the chain portion near the eyelet hook almost looks like it''s breaking. It looks as if the chain will break in two at any moment.
Is this common in snake chains? I know that they''re fragile, and neither of us sleep in them. Our stones aren''t heavy at all, so it''s not like they would be hanging too heavily.
What should we do?
