I have the age old question......is the following stone a reasonable size for an engagement ring or is it small?

measurement=5.69x5.58x3.96mm

a 1-plus carat stone is a more than reasonable size for an engagement ring! not to worry.

I hope so. I bought my wife a .71ct center princess cut. So in my opinion, it''s definitely a reasonable size.....

I thought it was ok, but then I get on this and everyone is talking about 1.25, 1.5, 2 carats.....started getting worried

I think it''s a great first engagement ring considering i have been married 14 years and my first one was .43 H....SI and my husband just a few weeks ago upgraded mine to a 1.04...D...SI To me this is a big upgrade so for a 1.06 for her first i think thats pretty great!!
