I''d like to help you as I have a princess e-ring, but none of the links worked for me

only the BScope image worked

but never fear!

muahahaha.

The PS fairy knows all!

It looks good to me, though 60 T may be too small for some.

I like this F SI2 http://www.exceldiamonds.com/diamond/19183.html it's a touch bigger for a little less.

thanks julie; I''d happily go to about $5000 - I just really like the apparent sparkle of this stone - for some reason gemex appears to be down for me so I can''t see the brilliantscope of the diamond you posed for me.

is the table size a problem? 60 ppears to be within AGA premium cut and the rest of her measurements seem to fall into the 1A class

thanks for your time

Email Barry about the BScope.

60T can cost you some brilliance, but give you more fire. I think 60 is a bit small for princesses...the typical princess look is very wide tabled. 67-73 is my favorite, though of course everyone has different preferences.

cool - I''ll do that; I think I agree with you about the size of the table; esp as the megascope seems to say 55% (am I reading this wrong - the gia says 60%?)

what I am after is a completely eye clean, very sparkley (a great cut), white D-G(H if it has a bit of blue like this one does - to go in platinum) roughly 1ct (0.93-1.1) princess in the range of $4500 - $5500

any advice appreciated =)

I'm kinda liking where that .95 is, 5.48 mm. Colorless, eye-clean inclusions, just below a carat, and an AGS0. What's not to like?

If it's not above 5.6mm^2, I don't think I'd bother going for more carat weight.

1.08 H SI2 with med blue flour $3750 5.69 mm http://www.exceldiamonds.com/diamond/24614.html needs to be called in.
1.09 G SI2 5.69 mm http://www.exceldiamonds.com/diamond/25888.html

But if the H isn't eye-clean, I'd be tempted to take the extra 1700 and put it towards an awesome setting instead of going for the G.

100% eyeclean SIs do exist

it may be a PS nightmare of mine for someone to say that a stone I suggested has a visible inclusion from three feet away.

SC does say it's "super eye clean." might want to ask SC what "super eye clean" means. and it may be worth a looksie (shipping charges) before you commit.

I do like that Vatche. It's part of a more affordable line, available 14K and not stamped with the brand, I think. If 650 for 14K is affordable...

Anyway, very graceful and classic. Do note the yucky CZ they have in the pictures; yours will be much better.

the setting will be platinum - cause that way it never has to be changed and we can upgrade the diamond without having to change the "original" ring too much

sorry to be a dumbass - but what is SC? I worked out PS (after thinking for a while it was photoshop!!)

thanks

T

SC=Superb Cert

If you upgrade the stone, you may need a new ring. That design doesn't look too accomodating of larger stones.

GOG also carries Vatche and has a lot of princesses. Just remember to look at the spread, not the carat weight.

Well, I think you''ve got three very nice stones. I''d rather not sound more knowledgeable than I really am, so at this point, it''s probably best to shoot Barry an email and see what he has to say.
