Thanks friends ;)

AGS is the only lab that offers a cut grade for princess cut diamonds. Since this is a GIA stone, then the claim that it is an ideal cut is based solely on the vendors opinion. I would suggest that you only work with vendors that can offer you magnified images of the diamond and ASETS to determine it's light performance. It's almost impossible to discern a diamonds beauty based on the numbers listed on the report alone, especially with a fancy cut stone.

ETA I should mention that although the ideal cut listed by the vendor on this particular stone is based solely on their opinion, it's also important to say that you shouldn't stray too far outside their recommended 'ideal' range because the opinion is based on what most consumers and dealers consider to be within ideal proportions and most visually appealing. I hope that makes sense. If not someone can help clarify what I'm trying to say.

thanks for you quick comment can i ask to the seller to send me the images and update here?

Of course. :)) That will be the best way to advice you. Do you know if your vendor can provide ASET images? Have you seen this stone in person?

I asked, but the vendor told me that they dont haved. Comparing around all diamond website a think this a good deal. What do you think? the vendor is http://www.jewelrycentral.com/..

Regards

Hmm...if you give us your price range we can look around for you and see what we can find. Do you have to have a high color (D)?

Places like whiteflash and james allen have pictures of their princess stones. Makes it easier to find a nice looking one.

Thanks for your help

I'll take a look around for you and post some other options. I may have to do it in the morning, but I'll take a quick look right now and see if something catches my eye. =)

This would be a great option! You can't find a more beautifully cut princess than a WF cut above! :naughty:

for some reason it isn't showing me the PS discount price, but even at the regular price with the $75 discount for your first purchase it bring you right in at budget, so with the PS discount I'm thinking that you can expect it to be a couple hundred under budget. WF is a very trusted well respected vendor and have a great return policy as well as buy back program, trade in and upgrade program.

If you think that your interested in this stone, I would call and have it put on hold immediately. There are a lot of lurkers that snatch up PS recommended stones, so you should move quickly if your interested.

Also this stone is AGS graded. AGS is the only lab that gives a cut grade for princess cuts, as I was telling you earlier, and it's already been evaluated to have ideal light performance. the aset and idealscope images have already been performed as well, and you can view them through the link I posted. I think this will be a much more beautiful stone than the one you were considering. ;))

shoot! ;( It may mean that, but I think you should give them a call anyway and tell them that you are/were interested in that stone and if it's not available that you would like to know if they could locate another with similar proportions for you.

I'm not a princess cut expert, so I'm hoping that others will chime in with some recommendations, but I'll take a another look around for you. I was finding much last night with your narrow parameters, but it was just a quick search, so I'll dig a bit deeper for you.
