Princess cut studs

I wanted to share an ear shot of one of the princess cut stud earrings that I received for my birthday in January. When I was shopping for these I could not find any pictures showing princess cut studs on the ear. I got the loose stones from my local jeweler and he set them in platinum baskets. They are about 3/4 carat each F VS2.

very pretty!!! I have princess studs, they are only .35 each though...they actually look sizeable on my ear though, they are set in tiffany style settings..I also bought the stones loose and had them set

I considered princess studs--there is somethng so elegant and classy yet modern and stylish about them...it was a tough call...but then I''d *need* a pendant to match, soooo

Thanks for the compliments guys. Just wanted to share these because you don''t see the princess ones on here. Jennifer my diamond solitaire pendant is round so now maybe I need to think about a princess cut one???!!!

Thank you Dancing Fire. I had round studs that were about 1/3 carat each for many years and when I got these for my 50th birthday I gave those to my daughter for her 21st birthday which was three days after mine!

Tat2db that stone has a depth of 74.2%, a table of 74%, a slightly thick girdle, dimensions of 5.10 x 4.84 x 3.59, and is .73 carat. It came with a GIA cert so there is limited cut info. I learned when I was looking for princess cut diamonds that you really need to see them in person. The numbers do not always do them justice.
