Princess cut setting with asscher cut eternity band?

Thinking of getting an eternity band to stack with my engagement ring. I have a princess cut stone on a a setting with princess cuts. Wondering how it will look with an asscher eternity band? Opinions?

"It all depends" is the right response. The cuts are different yet probably compatible for many purposes. I like the durability of Asscher cuts because they have cut corners, and do not have 90 degree pointed ends. How wide will such a ring spread your fingers apart. If you have fleshy fingers it may be fine, but if you have boney fingers, it may prove uncomfortable.

Agree with Old Miner that "it all depends" e.g. how big is your engagement ring diamond and what style is the ring, what style/width for the eternity band... Personally I think princess will look best with princess but it really is a personal decision.
Only you can decide whether you like the look - I would recommend visiting quality diamond jewellery shops to try rings on to decide what looks best - asscher eternity bands are less common than princess cut bands so you may not see them in many places.
