Need some help evaluating an Idealscope and ASET. Thoughts on this stone? I had the guys at Whiteflash call this one in for me.

Thanks in advance!

looks good to me- :)

Hmm, thats a tough one. The IS image looks like it is showing leakage in the corners and the aset doesnt look like their (WF)
typical aset. The picture of the stone does look very nice. Not sure if the IS is really anything to worry about or not. Did you
compare it with some of the ACA or Expert Selection IS images?

Bottom line is it does look like a nice stone.

I think it looks decent but it is not an ACA. what did WF have to say?

Its definitely not an ACA but I wasnt expecting that, this came from their virtual selection. The ACA for the carat weight Im looking for was a bit more than I was looking to pay. I received these images this afternoon but missed the Gemologist's call and didnt get back to WF before he left for the day. Plan to speak with him in the morning. Just curious to what the forum regulars thought of the stone as I have limited experience.

Thanks all

Definitely better than average for a princess, but not a top-quality cut. The center pattern under the table is beautiful, but I don't like the appearance at the edges...not enough red there in the ASET, and too much of a busy, splintery look compared to the more crisp, patterned center. I also prefer a slightly higher crown and smaller table. But overall, considering how poorly most princesses are cut and how expensive ideal cuts are in this size range, it's probably good buy.

TTT, gotta make a decision this weekend on this particular stone. Any other opinions?

Thanks!
