Hello,

I was looking at the below dimonds from Dimend Scassi:

I am leaning towards the above becasue 1) it is more in price range, though I am flexible, 2) is has the best color by far. However, I am wondering if I would prefer a smaller table. Do you always want the table to be smaller than depth on Princess?

My future wife only mentioned that she liked the Princess, and that she is not real bling/blingy (aka carots are not needed).

My price range was ~5k ish for ring and setting. Since I want platnum, ~4k is for stone.

Dimend Scassi is great as it is hard to find stones with low tables and depths.

As this is my 1st post, THANKS

so what advice do you need? do you have a setting in mind?

Ring will be Lucida.

Do you think the 0.9 carot''s depth and table are in good proportion?

usually a 70% table wants more depth than 67%.

is DS local to you?

Yes, I live in Chicago.

So general rule is more a few % more depth than table?

I saw all three today. On the 90 pointer there were 4 small dark spots in the center as it looked like the light was not reflecting out the crown.

The 1.05 carot was nice, though the 1.17 carot sparkled like there was no tomorrow. The 1.17 carot was "I" color. I was so set on the G or higher, though can anyone tell the difference.

From the stats, of the 1.05 and the 1.17 which do you all prefer.

You''re really lucky to be able to see the stones! I think that is especialy important with stones that are not round. Go with the largest one if it was the most beautiful! Dimend Scaasi makes beautiful settings, too! Good luck!
