Princess cut, do I purchase or not

I left a deposit at a local store for this princess cut diamond and after reading the threads, I''m not sure if its a good purchase or not. The price of the diamond is $3775 and I will be picking it up this weekend. The price includeds mounting on an engagement ring purchased somewhere else.

Holy cow! Really? an 82% table? I'm not a princess expert by any means, so someone else should chime in on this (I don't even know the first thing about them).......but I'm fairly sure they aren't supposed to be that big.




Please someone correct me quickly if I'm wrong.

I agree. The table is huge and with the shallow crown, it's going to have a very flat appearance when it's set. Have you compared this stone to some other princesses? I think if you saw one with a smaller table and higher crown you'd be much more impressed.

SI2 in a princess is likely to have visible inclusions have you looked it over carefully for them to make sure that if they are visible that they dont bug you?

I'd pass, for all the reasons stated above.
