Princess Cut 2.02 Stone - Which Mounting?

I have the above stone in a prong set mounting. Was wondering if there are advantages to changing it to a V set mounting? Will this protect the stone more? Will it reduce the amount of light reflecting within the stone? Thanks!

Are you asking if the corners should be covered with V-prongs (chevrons?). If so, I would say absolutely. Princess corners can and do chip rather easily sometimes.

Yes, that is exactly what I mean. Does this type of setting change to ''look'' of the diamond significantly?

No, the chevron type prongs will not detract from the light performance of the stone. They are still very small yet protect the pointy corners of the princess cut diamond. I too would recommend going with this v-type prongs rather than the traditional type prongs.
