Princess Cut 1 crt

Hello everyone,

I am a long time reader first time poster. I have been trying to find a 1 crt Princess Cut diamond for my girlfriend. I have a budget of around $4k AUS to spend on just the diamond. I was wondering what you think of the below diamond, or should i be looking at something else?

GIA does not grade cut quality on princesses, so any designation of a cut grade has been done subjectively by the seller.

Since you are a long time reader, first time poster, you should have heard PSrs recommending an ASET image on fancy cuts to evaluate light performance - can you get that? And I think VVS clarity is overkill - you can safely drop a bit there and gain carat weight / color / both.

As far as I am aware there aren't any Aus suppliers that can offer ASETs as a normal service. And an ASET is really the only way to assess the cut and therefore sparkle of a princess diamond. A lot of us PSers in AUS buy from the states making use of AUSTA tax rules and have the stones shipped over. It usually worked out better value for money and also gives us more choice as there isn't usually much of an inventory in AUS. - Just a suggestion.
