I wonder whether he'll let this go to trial, or just write a big check.
Either way this doesn't bode well for Britain's blue bloods.

I am glad he's being called onto the carpet to account for the serious allegation.
The rich and powerful have been getting away with too much for too long. :nono:

This ABCNews report includes excerpts from a September 6 letter that Prince Andrew's lawyer Gary Bloxsome wrote:
In it, he suggests that -- if what he considers to be proper procedures are followed -- "it is likely that our client will be content to agree to a convenient method of alternative service."

But I'm guessing that Prince Andrew will end up defaulting rather than participate in this US litigation.

I'm curious to learn the backstory that would explain why Ms. Giuffre decided upon David Boies as her lawyer, and why she didn't fire him after the The New Yorker published Ronan Farrow's article -- Harvey Weinstein’s Army of Spies -- in November of 2017.
I wouldn't think she would feel comfortable with a lawyer who acted on Weinstein's behalf as described in that article.
