pricing

When using the pricescope link search at the top of the page it lists out the diamonds with prices. it states that a price with a * next to it is a pricescope link price. when I click on the price and go to the vendors site it is always a higher amount. Do I need to call them directly and tell them I found it through pricescope and what the price was listed at on pricescope? how does this work?

The * marked price you see is the price available to PS purchasers if they pay by wire transfer, from what I understand. This is the PS discount and why you see a higher price otherwise.

Lorelei is right, and yes you DO need to call the vendor and tell them you are a PS member to get the lower price. Sometimes you''re required to pay by wire with cash, and sometimes not, but you''ll almost always get a much better discount with cash. Some vendors have 2 discounts you can combine- a wire discount AND a PS discount.
