Pricescope Vendors

How does a Business entity become a preferred pricescope vendor? I've seen that many PScopers have bought from ID Jewelry happily- why are they not a Pricescope vendor?

Listing stones in the database and the various banners you see distributed about the place are purely a matter of advertising and money. The vendors pay for this and ID is apparently choosing to spend their money elsewhere. If they want to buy some advertising, I'm sure the admins would be happy to talk to them about it and see if there's a good fit for both of them. Popularity with the forum crowd is a bit more difficult to arrange and the admin has no vote on this. Popularity on the forum isn't really related to who advertises here although there is a certain amount of overlap. There are non-advertisers who are pretty well regarded (for example Brian Gavin) and advertisers who get next to no discussion (ex Abazias). By all means feel free to post your experiences about any merchant you wish. If others agree or disagree with they'll add to it. I"m not sure I would describe either of these groups as 'prefered vendors'.

I am not sure what you mean by Preferred Pricescope vendor.

Just to clarify ID Jewelry does sponsor pricescope and is in the "Featured Sponsor" list.
