Prices

Hi guys,
I was new to this forum and have been price shopping between online vendors. The one vendor that really sticks out is Good old Gold. Their website is definitely the most informative and I feel most comfortable dealing with them. However, how come their prices seem significantly higher? I did a price search on pricescope for a 1ct H&A G/VS1 and prices came back in the 4500-5200 range. However when I look on GOG''s site most diamonds with similar specifications are in the 6000-6500 range. Should there be such a large price difference between various H&A diamonds?

I havent noticed that big a price difference but it doesnt suprise me.
GOG is sometimes more expensive and sometimes cheaper or the same price from what Iv seen.
Drop rhino an email and ask about it if its a diamond your really interested in.
Who knows it may be a typo.

I wouldnt pay that big a premium for one of his diamonds but with all the informaation he provides I wouldnt have a problem with say $200 more on comparable diamonds compared with someone who doesnt provide that much info.
It would cost me atleast that to get all that info on another diamond.

All of the often recomended PS dealers provise enough information to make an informed decision.
To me that is:
ags or gia cert
sarin or equivalant full report
heart pictures
arrow pictures
ideal-scope images
inclusion pictures
over all diamond picture at 10x and at no magnification.
eyeball it and confirm it is eyeclean and willing to take it back with no hassles if it isnt.

The rest of it is just icing on the cake to me.
