I am considering a 3 diamond-channel set wedding band set in 14K white gold.

Middle Diamond:
Shape: Natural Round Brilliant Cut
Measurements: 4.90 x 4.85 x 3.00 mm
Weight: 0.47 ct
Clarity: VS2
Colour: D-E
Cut: Good

Outside Diamonds (2):
Shape: Natural Round Brilliant Cut
Weight: 0.77 ct (total)
Clarity: VS1
Colour: D-E
Cut: Very Good

Total ct: 1.24
Price: $5600

These stones really sparkle and have great fire (look better than other diamonds I''ve seen), but the asking price seems way off compared to the "pricescope" diamond search.

Help a gal out. Any thoughts please?

Way off it what way? How are ther diamonds cut? Is the setting included. More information please!

Thanks Matatora for replying.

The channel set band in 14k white gold is included in the $5600.

Off in the sense that a similar spec''d diamonds according to pricescope''s diamond search total about $2000-3000 less than the $5600 asking price.

The stones look great, but is the price right?

So you like a ring with one .47 stone and 2 .34 stones???????
What is the color of the smaller stones???????

The 2 outter stones are:

Outside Diamonds (2):
Shape: Natural Round Brilliant Cut
Weight: 0.77 ct (total)
Clarity: VS1
Colour: D-E
Cut: Very Good

Sorry...it was there....so you need to compare prices for the stones and figure in cost of band.....OK!

you could get the same size ideal cut h&a stones for that price.

I know the cut says very ggod but it is diffiult to determine what that means. Do you have any of the crawn, pavillion table numbers?

Unfortunately I do not. Due to inexperience I did not copy them down. Sorry.

Thanks for asking!

not only is there a significant price difference, the cut quality (more sparkle) is going to make a huge difference.

Exactly belle! That''s where I am torn. The 3 diamonds have great sparkle and look much nicer than the other stones I have seen with similar specs, but "spec wise", the prices seem so different.

I''m not sure if I just haven''t seen enought diamonds, or if I am totally off on the prices.

internet prices are hard to beat. i have looked at many many diamonds locally and even the best of them could not compare with the ideal cut h&a''s i have seen.

I agree, Internet prices may not have the same overhead a local "brick and motar" store might, thus showing in the prices.

So would you say that the price difference is "on par" with internet and local stores?

i''m not sure what your question is, but i will say that the stones you linked to are in-line with internet pricing (which is very good) and the price of the ring you quoted seems in-line with that of tradiitional b&m''s.
