Well FI''s wedding band came in polished rather than satin/matte. How much should it be to add the finish?

nothing if it was ordered that way and not delivered right.

If it''s a situation where you don''t have time to send it back, I''d call KP and just ask. I know wallermama had hers done and it was quick.

Absolutely - did you order it satin finish? If so, I''d bring it back and tell them they didn''t finish the job! If not...hmm...dunno - was it Wallermama who satin finished her asscher ring? She might be able to tell you the range of what she paid.

*sigh* I know. I actually bought the ring from an ebay store (which I bought from before), I contacted them several times to make sure they would/could do a satin finish. Ring come polished!

I contacted them and said I should over night it AND send a money order for the return shipping!

It''s their error. I HAVE the emails. I don''t think I should have to pay for anything but I rather take it local and have it take an hour than send it back and risk that it be gone for our wedding in two weeks. I am disappointed in the seller and have yet to leave their feedback. It will be negative but I was trying to give them a chance to make it up to me. Not going to happen.

For those who are curious it was $10 and took about 30 seconds. NOW it is perfect

$10, that''s a great price, good to know. Glad it worked out for you, but sorry that the ebay seller messed up your order. But better to have it done locally at that price than sending it back and having to go through more hassles. Can we see a pic???

I know! I could NOT handle sending it back so close to the wedding! Too stressful. I will try to take some pictures today. I doubt I can get hand shots

You are SO sweet. I am getting so excited. Less than two weeks to go! I''ll start a wedding band thread once I take some pics. I have been holding out on mine too

You definitely did the right thing - it''s too close to the wedding to screw around with someone who couldn''t get it right in the first place! If you had more time, I would have demanded it be done at no cost to you, as you have proof it was supposed to come that way in the first place. They deserve the neg. feedback.

Glad to hear it was so inexpensive and easy to do locally!!
