I am currently shopping around for a Ritani Endless Love engagement ring (the one with the halo around it). I have a 1.4 carat diamond that I am planning on using, and thus far both Solomon Brothers and BBB have been able to accommodate this. BBB quoted me a price of $3650. The individual I am dealing with at Solomon Brothers quoted me $3600 and told me that was her "sale" price and that she was giving me about 20% off. Interestingly enough,
I also looked at another couple of rings at Solomon and she really only quoted me the prices on the sticker (claiming in each case I was getting about 20% off). Anyways, I went on Solomon''s website and found the setting for $2980.00 (http://www.solomonbrothers.com/Search/JewelrySearchDetails.asp?sSKU=8677
. When I asked the individual at Solomon, she said that was an old price from 2004 and was for a special order that was designed for a 0.90 carat center stone. Anyone have any thought on this? I think she is trying to scam me into paying more. If anyone else has purchased this setting recently, please let me know what price you paid! Thanks!!
