Hi

A question please. I have noticed that in some the posts, people mentioned that they had one or two rings shipped to them to look at and decide which, if any, ring was suitable. The most recent thread was with an eternity ring from facets singed pieces. So, in a bid to sound a little less silly

when talking to the vendors, how does that work?? Do you pay for the full price of both rings and they get sent to you, do you have to be an existing customer, do they do this to overseas customers as well??
I would love to know how this works from the customers point of view, as I am very interested in a particular eternity ring, but would love to see it first to get some reassurance.

Anyway, please share how this has worked for you if you have done it.
Thanks

I don't know about the other vendors of completed rings but with Signed Pieces, you actually purchase the ring. Wear it or whatever and you have up to 30 days to decide if it is a keeper. If not, you can return it for a full refund. You do not have to be an existing customer (well, in a way you would be because you would have in effect purchased the ring). I have no idea if this also applies to rings being sent overseas. Why not give Isaac at SP a call and ask him?

I worked with Bill Pearlman who was willing to send out 3 rings for me to look at. Bill was extremely nice and I was really surprised that he was willing to send them out. He said he didn''t need a down payment, and that my word that I would return them was good enough. I got the rings next day, looked over them for a couple days then sent them back. He''s an excellent man to work with, so I''d give him a call.
