N will be 3 this summer and he's going to start preschool in September. He's been home with me (or my mom when I'm at work) since he was born. Have any of you had experience with Reggio-Emilia inspired preschools?

My nephew went there from 6 months to 5 years old and loved it. They are big on using "found" materials (recycled materials). Also, it's play based learning which I guess is different than Montessori where I went where they have the concept of "work" and things are supposed to be done a certain way and in a certain order. We visited a Montessori last year for K. She's in a 2 day per week co-op play based learning pre-school now and has adapted very well. She cried the 2nd and 3rd weeks, but still said she "had fun" every day. I also think his classes were age specific vs. multiple years of ages in one class like Montessori.
