so my poor ex, when we quit dating my parents were still in the old house that is now underwater. Maybe I should have sent him a quick update when they moved but he texted me freaking "are your parents ok, do they need sandbags or food or water or anything, im gonna go see them to see if they need help" i texted back really quickly that they had sold the house to the gov''t and the gov''t just let those places get flooded. Lol the guy probably would have had a heart attack if he showed up and saw the state it was in.

Anyways, goes to show ya in these times we all just put aside our differences and help how we can.

As far as I know all the dikes are holding up right now.
