Just a short note to publically thank Jennifer Thornton-Davis, of in-depth appraisals in Los Angeles. I've seen her twice now, and she's done a wonderful job both helping with a shipping issue and a complete appraisal after I had my loose diamond mounted. She was very professional and wonderful to deal with, and (fortunatly/unfortunatly? 
managed to find a feather in the stone that both the original seller and another appraiser failed to see. She doesnt have any of the super fancy sarin machines or scanners, but does have an excellent knowledge of the field (not that im an expert to say . In any case just wanted to let anyone looking for appraisal work in LA that she's an excellent resource, and I look forward to doing business with her again!
