ok for (as some say) sh*ts and giggles i'll show you some shots i tried to take yesterday for the bling in nature thread
i was calm, it wasnt breezy, i had plenty of time, nothing was rushed
but they allturned out cr*p
i hate my phone camera ...now hang on wait here wile i edit my post from my phone
as a 9 year old with a very basic non zoom instamatic camera i took pictures a million times better than this
They are all this bad
There was then much swearing and cursing

Hardenburgia
A slightly frost tender aussie climber
Also comes in pink and white
Becomes bushy over the summer
Nice to have some bright colour in winter
You can also see naughty Fluffy on the garage roof. She escaped yesterday
It happens every few months. At least she picked a nicer day for it
I'm.cooking a slow cooker chicken to entice her back in. She must have been cold last night

I was riding the bus home from work after sticking my hands in my pockets all day. I was sitting by a bus window with the fluorescent bus lights overhead and the daylight streaming in. My dark purple spinel started going absolutely crazy with the pleiochroism and showing magenta, teal, and purple at the same time. I had to get a photo. But it’s one of those “it could have been perfect but it wasn’t” shots. How I wish the spinel had been clean and there were not fabric strings stuck to the prongs! It would have been one of the best bling shots I ever took. That night I tried to re-create it but failed. But thanks to this thread, I can show it off.

Why not post just everyday, boring, random bling pics? I feel like we’re always trying so hard to make everything look amazing when it’s amazing in real life to us, but maybe doesn’t translate to fabulous?

Not great but completely real life. Me, red faced & flustered in my basic, always worn pieces, after having spent FORTY MINUTES hoovering this whopping great house in stuffy summer heat. I am obsessed with hoovering. Obsessed. The cleaner comes twice a week, but I like a random mad session sometimes to get my steps up So real, that just for you I didn’t tense my neck & let the turkey skin do its thang!
