Post Christmas - The 7 Stages of Food Regret

Had a really healthy dinner last night... and then DH and I ordered pancakes via Uber Eats… oops lol

@msop04, woohoo!!!!!!!! Congratulations!!!!!! So happy for you!

I have been back to my eating plan for two whole days. Thankfully, I can still have some things like the sugar free homemade icecream I just ate.:lickout: Cuz it's harder than i thought. We have been passing around a cold virus for the entire month of December. I got it, recovered and got it again. I just want to be healthy again. I haven't felt much like cooking the last week so it is hard to stay on track. I don't think I gained but I don't feel as good if I eat carbs or sugar and I did both over Christmas. Bad bad bad luv2sparkle.

Congratulations MSOP!!!

I've been on a low carb 'lifestyle' since April (and lost significant weight). We did cheat for 3 days for Christmas. But I'm back on the wagon. It's not that hard to continue on it once you get used to it. The trick is not to be off the wagon for too long.

Admittedly though, I'm already bribing myself with the promise of homemade cinnamon rolls for Easter. We had them for Christmas and they were worth the cheat in a way few cheats have been. (LMK if you want the recipe).

@luv2sparkle I have lots of low carb and sugar free recipes to share if you want.

I was doing well. I even forgot to go get a slice of dark chocolate cherry cake before it went away for the year. I know better than to go to the store hungry! Pretzel stick covered in chewy/soft caramel then dipped in dark chocolate and covered in candy cane crumbles...

At least they only had one!:rolleyes2:

Great list. I'm at #7 & counting down like the ball drop on NY's. Then when I get to #1, it will be next holiday season & I'll start over again. :cry2:

Congratulations MSOP04!

Oh my goodness, congratulations @msop04!!! :appl::appl::appl:

Thanks, @LaylaR! I use a ketogenic plan to lose weight as well. It's called Profile and it's by Sanford Health Systems. I first used it to lose the weight I gained from our first baby, and I just keep coming back to it from time to time. It works. THIS pregnancy will be different in that I'm going to try not to go crazy with eating anything and everything my little heart (or stomach) desires. I made an appointment with Profile to discuss new goals and to formulate a plan for pregnancy. *fingers crossed*

Thanks, @ccuheartnurse! It's 1-7 every year for me too! But, hey, I love food! ;)
