Possible New Ring

I''m thinking about having a ring created by Mark Morrell... I wanted to express my ideas to the group and see if anyone had any comments. The ring would be based off of the this ring:

I like the side accents and how it tapers a little before getting to the rock. I wanted to incorporate the top of this ring as well:

I really like how the second one pulls away from the rock and how the actual setting sits.... I''m planning on placing a 1.5ct (approximate) size diamond in the ring. What does everyone think of this idea (hope you are visualizing what I''m talking about) What are everyone''s opinions on the side stones... I like them, but do the ladies out there think its better with out them? Also I''m looking at the six heart shaped prongs... anyone think I should consider 4?? all opinions appreciated?

I was planning on having three accent diamonds on each side. I also considered attempting to put blue accent diamonds on each side, or maybe two white and one blue on each side (blue being the middle accent diamond) Any opinoin on this?

His work is great. I''m glad you posted this. I''m in the Boston area and didn''t know about Morrell. Who else did you look at?

I"m leaning toward Pitaniello in the South End and recently talked with Karina Mattei in Brookline.

Did Morrell do any full bezel work?

I like the double prong look, the blue diamonds would be great looking and would add a sparkle. Maybe sapphires to save some money. I dunno just a thought. What about a w-band?

Does anyone have a guess to the size of the accent diamonds in the top ring?? Also, what are the odds of finding six blue diamonds of this guessed size (even if irradiated) that look similiar? Also what are the downfalls of irradiated diamonds - other than obviously not being natural???
