Possible diamond for Halo?

Hello again, everyone!

In my earlier posts, I talked of the halo setting I wanted, and got help from some wonderful PSers that assisted me with my perfect design.

I puttered around online every now and then, looking for "the diamond" to sit in the beautiful custom halo, and I think I might have found it...what do you think?

Crown Angle: 34.8

We're on a pretty tight budget, but this diamond seems very nice for the price. It is a very eye-clean SI1. However, since I can't see it in person, I wondered if the numbers sound good as well. Any help/comments are appreciated! Please, be honest!

Ebree, the numbers do look good, and the HCA gives the cut a 1.4 with EX, EX, EX, VG for spread. I''d say it looks like a definite contender for your halo. You said it''s very eyeclean. It sounds as if all the variables are coming together for you. Good luck.

The only thing I''m concerned about is the picture of the diamond:

It doesn''t look as "bright and shiny" as others, for example:

Do you think this is just a lighting issue at Whiteflash, or is there a chance my stone will be dull?

I wish! It''s on hold. I have until tomorrow morning to decide. Do you think the picture is just weird? It''s an I, and it''s ideal cut! I can''t imagine why it looks so much more dull than some of the others.

EBree - I took a look and you're right, something was off with the lighting in that photo. When we do hundreds of diamonds at a time occasionally a wonky image slips through.

I had this bumped to the front of the line. A better image and an ideal-scope should be up for you soon. Thanks for the catch.

I think it looks like a great stone!!! As John said the pic was a bit off due to the lighting when the pic was taken.

Thanks for the replies, everyone! I''m going to wait to hear back from Bob or John about what it looks like in person, and if they say it''s as beautiful in person as it is in the updated photo, it''s going to be mine!
