Your ring turned out gorgeous! I love the setting. What color is the center?
Ya know, I think what you had happen is fairly common. When I got my current center stone from a B/M, it was listed on James Allen, Union Diamond and I.D.Jewelry. I had the AGS cert# to compare. So it was just a matter of who called for it first. in my case it was my B/M location. Even after my stone was set, I.D.Jewelry said they had it in their New York vault. I think it is just common occurrence for virtual vendors to say they actually possess the stone, until they can get their hands on it. Isn't that the nature of a virtual stone, kinda out there for anyone to grab? In the end, all that matters is that you have a beautiful stone at a great price. No funny business, just the nature of the beast. I don't think it takes a genius to see the same stone listed from 3 different vendors and realize all 3 can't have the stone at the same time, so most people know this happens and go for the best situation for them.. Sometimes great deals take a little extra time and work. Considering all this, I think James Allen should get 5 stars for delivering what they promised at a great price to boot!
Congrats on your project turning out fabulous! .....and of course on being engaged!!!!
