With so many people getting upgrades and new stones, I thought it would be fun to do a poll and see what the current most common center stone size is on PS. So please vote; only vote just for the center stone carat weight and not the total carat weight of your ring. Thanks!! :wavey:

Mine's .92 ct. I'm going to guess that the average is around 1.5 ct.

I voted for the one I am wearing at this moment (3 stone is 1.06 or is it 1.09?? forget!) but once I get my OEC set, it will be a larger centre stone than this one at 1.68

I think on PS the centre stone size may be higher overall than those of the general population. ;))

5.318ct for me, he he.....FINALLY, after 6 looooooong years!

I think PS will reflect a larger center stone than the general average seen on the streets. 1.6 ct AVC.

Yes, I definitely think PS is bit outside the norm. ;)) Isn't the average in the U.S. .70 or so?

Upgraded from 1.5 to 2.5 for my five year anniversary (the one's my e-ring, the other a RHR). So I figure I average out at 2? :rodent:

Upgraded this year from a .5 ct princess to a 3.62ct OEC as a combined 5 year anniversary and push present.

Wish I could switch some numbers around and say 9.31cts! Haha but alas it is 1.93. Which I am very happy about also!
This is gonna be fun to see the end result! I've always wondered since I remember DF making some guesses that made me ponder! :naughty:

Mine is 1.07 carat.

.788 carat OEC.

It's juuuuuuuust barely over 2. 2.06, maybe? 2.0something, at any rate. But a sapphire, which is approximately, I think, the size of a 1.7ct diamond?

eta: Looked at the papers and it is indeed 2.06.

2.50... no upgrades for me!

Not sure if that's fair because if CS counts, then I have a 5.02 ct stone.

I think colored stones totally should count if they are your e-ring stone!

DF works for the government as a census collector. But in the top secret jewelry department no one knows about.

Thanks, Dreamer :). This is the one and only upgrade I get.. so we might as well have gotten the most bang out of our bucks!

Mine is a 1.57 pear.

I selected 1.50 to 1.99 for my 1.57 transitional. That is my largest stone. I also own a 1.23 ct emerald cut, a .71 carat oval, and a .74 carat modern rb. Boy, am I spoiled or what?

;)) Not "spoiled" -- you are "well loved"!! ;))

MAN! I'm way below all the averages! My center stone is .3 baby diamond! I keep *Heavily* hinting to hubby and he just looks at me crazy! However, even when I upgrade I'll be going the 5stone route, so the "center" won't be much larger than my .3, probably .35-.4  as I'm just pinching pennies and we're ahem frugal. ;) I'd love a graduated 5 stone w/closer to a 1ct, but reality I'm going for a 1.75-2 ctw 5stone. :D
