Good point about the setting cost. Hopefully it's helpful to hear a variety of input. I know I find it extremely helpful when, I'm back and forth, to hear PSers thoughts. GL

Well, I voted with Michael. Thanks for the laugh, lol.

I'm currently in the more but smaller, less than trade ideal for a deal camp.... I think since I am new to colored stones I am kind of just having fun seeing what I like and I honestly am getting a lot of enjoyment even out of smaller gems (I'd love big ones more, surely, but don't want to fork over the money, lol!) so that is where I am at.

Down the road when I know what I really value and go to with gems then I may feel like I want to buy a magnificent gem worth more money. Fun thread!
