pointers and mm

So I see that small diamonds are referred to as pointers. 5 points, 7 pointers, etc. How many points, approximately, is a 3.2mm round?

2.9 is about .10ct, 3.4 is about .17ct, 3.2 is about .13ct.....

Girdle thickness and depth percentage generally alter these approximations. Other factors also alter these generalizations.
