Pointers and mm size

Hello all,

I am having a replica of the Tiffany Soleste ring made as we speak. Could any Soleste-owners or indeed owners of double halos comment on the size of the pavé please? I'm led to believe that the size of the stones used on the Soleste is 1-1.2mm on the halo. Is this correct? This is what my jeweller is telling me so I'd like to confirm with you lot (the pros My diamond is a 1.2 carat G Si 1.

I'd also like to know what this means in terms of points - i.e. what would 1mm be in terms of pointers in the diamond world? I've seen previous posts in relation to the size of the diamonds used on halos and obviously want to recreate the delicate nature of the Soleste so want the diamonds to be 0.5 pointers if that is what the Soleste has

My sister replicated a soleste and she has half pointers so I think you'd will be great! Very delicate but super sparkley!

I was advised they are .05 pointers, I was going this route, but was going to go with 2 different sizes on the halo- the traditional soleste has the same size on both halos. Is your jeweler one of the main PS vendors? They are super familiar with this look and will not steer you wrong! Good luck! Keep us posted!

Thank you! They get slightly bigger on the shank I believe. I'm actually in UK so having Daniel Prince in London make my ring - I'm so excited too and look forward to sharing
