or No 2: http://www.fancydiamonds.net/Yellow_Diamonds/1375.htm

I like the intensity of the first one but it is quite a bit more expensive and has slightly lower clarity. This RHR is only going to be a fancy fun RHR to wear. Just wondering what you guys think abt the rose cut and the colour in the second stone and is it really worth it saving the money (towards my second upgrade - see my other threads) or would I be better splurging on the first more yellow stone?

If those are the options, I like the first one hands down better.

I second the vote for the first one. I like the color and the shape better.

However, if you''re only going to wear it occasionally, then maybe you would be happier putting the money toward your upgrade, which you''ll see every day. Personal choice!

Although I have to say, looking at your potential upgrade, the cost difference between these two doesn''t seem like much of a swing.

1st one by a lot for me; the diff in price isn''t that much,so for sure no. 1.

I think it would really come down to light performance for me, which is difficult to judge from the pictures. If you decide solely on the pictures, I def say get the 5k one as that additional money isn't really going to help your upgrade much at all. too small of a % increase to really do anything there (but if somehow it was having an effect on your upgrade I say get the cheaper Fancy yellow).

But first I would want to know more about light performance, as though the color isn't as vivid in the cheaper one, it would probably look nicer if it performed better.

Also, the more expensive one has strong fluo. Do you know what color fluo it is. I assume that it is blue, but I am not really sure what effect strong blue fluo has on a yellow fancy color in sunlight? have you looked into that? All I know is what I teach the kids at the daycare--blue and yellow make green...and well, that is really yellow, and strong blue fluo can be quite blue in sunlight....so...seems to me it might make a fairly evident green color outside? maybe not though, just something I would like to know more about myself, so let me know if you know!
