My ring is being redone by VC and I am having trouble deciding whether to have 1.15 or 1.35mm stones in my halo. My original ring had 1.05mm stones in the halo, which for me was too small. I don't know if going up to 1.15mm will make much of a difference, and I am afraid 1.35mm will be slightly too large? There would be 6 stones per side with 1.15, and 5 stones per side with 1.35.
My shank had 1.3mm stones for a total width of 1.8mm, VC is going to increase the width to 1.5mm for around 2mm total width in the new ring. I guess I don't prefer the super dainty look, I just don't know if 1.35mm on a 1.8ct will be too overwhelming on my center stone. For reference, my center stone does measure close to a 2ct face up, it is 6.86 x 7.54.
Here are pictures of the original ring:

I really like the look of this 2ct Emilya ring which has 5 stones per side. I don't know the halo size, and neither does VC though. I like how you can see each stone more clearly (in the photo), but I don't know what it actually looks like on the hand.

I really don't know what the "perfect" size is. Maybe going from 1.05 to 1.15 will make the difference I wanted, or 1.15mm will be very slightly small, and 1.35mm will be very slightly big. I can't decide which way I should lean...
Please let me know what you think! Thanks All!
