So I think I found a diamond that suits me. http://www.whiteflash.com/hearts_arrows/A-Cut-Above-H-A-cut-diamond-906723.htm
I just want a little feedback on it before I decide to pull the trigger. I feel good about the J color because of having seen soo many white J''s here on this forum and the SI2 kinda scares me, but it seems as though it may be eye clean...i worry about the clouds making it look dirty though. I haven''t decided on a setting just yet, but I think it will be a solitare-ish type so that the color doesn''t show as much. I want to go with ACA to guarantee that the stone performs very well, it seems like a small premium to pay for that. So what do you think? Any better options? I have to buy from WF.
My parameters:
No compromises on cut quality.
Clarity and color have room to play with as long as eye clean and around 1ct. I''m looking for the best bang for buck with this in mind. No more that $5500. Thanks!

You don''t need to worry about clouds making it look dirty unless the SI2 (or lower) is due to very expansive clouds. According to the AGS report, this shouldn''t be a problem.

It looks like a lovely stone and I don''t think clarity will be an issue. However, you can''t really feel color through a computer screen. Luckily you can always trade in the stone with WF if it''s too warm for you, but it might be best to go look at some well-cut J''s in person if you are doubting it.

Yeah, I am planning on looking at some settings tomorrow, I''ll make sure to look at them using a well-cut J stone. Thanks for the note about the clouds...I wasn''t sure how they would affect the overall look of the stone.
