This is a photo I took in 2018 at Katherine Alberston Park in Downtown Boise. Seconds after I took this picture, a flock of geese swooped in for a landing over my just over my left shoulder. Naturally, I was in the process of closing my tripod to go to another location and missed a great shot.
I haven't stepped outside of our house for more than a week. Yesterday we had our first 15 min walk since doggie's surgery and I tried to find anything that is qualified to be posted here. I miss fall colors a lot since moving from NC to CA And I love seeing pictures posted here, they are so calming and tranquil, and of course beautiful. Here is a part of my husband in his fall color and everything else I was able to find not far from the home.
So, Sat morning I got up early and headed down to Kathryn Albertson park here in Boise. There were some thin clouds in the air as dawn was breaking and I had high hopes for a stunning sunrize. Nope, nada. I took a few pictures, but nothing really like what I was hoping for. This is the best of the lot for color change.
Nice but no breath was lost.
Then as I am walking towards the exit to go home and cook breakfast, I spotted this simple flower in the grass. I love the dramatic color shift in the petals. Someone please feel free to tell me what this is...
A couple of weeks ago it was rainy and the leaves had started falling. It was just magic. It lasted one day and went dull. This is from my front door. Shenandoah Valley in Virginia
But then I saw this hot pink rose...and while not a fall color...that color pink!
Fall this year is not normal
This is after hurricane/ts/hurricane/ts Eta...
There were 3 hits with that storm, was like pinball in the Caribbean! we unfortunately have massive beach erosion.
