Many thanks all around! You guys are great (which is why I've stuck around all these years!) We had a good time soaking up the engagement'ness today. I called my mother this morning at 8, another friend around the same time, and posted "engaged" as my relationship status on FB, so that was fun and pretty much everyone knows.

I'm just so happy, I really, really am. I expected a proposal sometime this summer, but at one point he said to me, "let me have my moment," and ever since then I've just been really laid back and not stressed. I"m so glad he said that and I agreed. Maybe I wasn't wearing my dream outfit, maybe my nails weren't done just so, maybe my hair wasn't perfect, or my makeup, but in the end it all came down to 4 words that will affect both of our entire lives going forward, and that was that. I guess life doesn't care who or what you're wearing.

A huge good luck shout out to all the other LIW's. What a feeling!
