Bobo...on the Local Vendors List that Matadora mentioned, there is a company, Liberty Diamonds. I''ve used them personally and would use them again! They were wonderful! Ask specifically for Troy...I dealt with him and he was very professional.

I used Liberty Diamonds (Irvine, CA) as well to custom make my ring. I am extremely happy with it. The jeweler''s name is "Tony" and he is a sub-contractor for Liberty Diamonds. He has an eye for details and he is such a perfectionist so he is someone you would want to work on your ring.

If you are going to buy diamonds, talk to Troy. If you are wanting custom work done, ask for Tony. Christina helped coordinate things for me. SHe is helpful and very nice as well. I have to say that custom making a ring with Liberty Diamonds is not really cheap.. but I didn''t want to have to send my diamonds via Fedex to anywhere else... and am very happy with this decision.

I think if you were to buy the center diamond from them, your custom setting will be a lot cheaper. For me, I provided my center and side diamonds and for a hand-made ring, it cost me $1850+tax which included the appraisal of my center diamond, and guaranteed satisfaction (but he got it right the first time). I think for Tony''s work, it is well worth it but to some, may be expensive.
