I have learnt a lot on pricescope over the pat few days. I would feel much more comfortable in buying thsi diamond or continuing with my search if I had the experts chime in.

.84 ct
H, SI-1, Med Flores
Crown Angle 35.5
Pavilion Angle 40.8
Table 57%
Depth 61.6%

I ran the numbers by HCA, the score is 2.6 with a Very Good in all the 4 categories.

I know I should pick a diamond which has a balance of fire and white light but I am intrigued more by Fire :-)

Please tell me if this is a contender.

I have seen GEMEX Live reports (Sorry cant find the link right now) but it was rated between High and Very High on Brightness and Scintillation and Very High on Fire.

Thank you

May

Anybody?

possible, depends on other facet numbers and optical symm. Do you have an IS/ASET image of it?

Where would I find an ASET image? The vendor would have access to those?

If he has the scope? Is this a online vendor or a brick store?

Is that the image where in the diamond is red and the hearts and arrows are shown in white?

They are a B&M store. When I visit them what do I need to see/analyze wrt this or any other stone they show me?

Thanks,

Thanks,

What you are seeing is a H&A scope. That shows the optical symm of the stone but not necessary equal to optical performance.

This is what an IS/ASET shows.

One way is to buy your own scope if the store do not have it. Quite cheap at $25 + shipping.

Definitely careful evaluation is needed with this angle combo, it is entering the steep deep zone. If you don''t have access to IS then inspect the diamond carefully preferably away from the store lights, look for any dull dark patches on the surface of the diamond, the diamond doing '' dead'' and or a dark ring around the table, this will be leakage if you see any of this.
