Hey everyone. Im totally new to this, but I''m hoping to buy my first stone and was hoping for some opinions.

Here are the details

I found it at Whiteflash:
Carat weight: 1.015
Cut: Ideal, ACA H&A AGS certified
Color: I
Clarity: SI1
Depth %: 61.4%
Table %: 55.7%
Symmetry: Ideal
Polish: Ideal
Girdle: Thin to Sl Thick
Culet: 0.4%
Fluorescence: Negligible
Measurements: 6.47 x 6.48 x 3.97 mm

They''re asking for $5500. What do you think?

I don''t think you can really go wrong with an ACA. They are beautifully cut. Just confirm with WF that it is eyeclean and you should be set to go.

Could be tighter. Thin to slightly thick girdle is extreme variation. Look for thin (or thin)to medium (or med.) or medium to slightly thick.

Actually beach, I hope you don't mind me mentioning this but thin to slightly thick is fine - if it was thin to thick or very thick then that would be going too far in the other direction.

Its lovely! No worries!

No worries, I looks great.

beach, Lorelei''s correct. That''s a branded diamond, they really don''t get cut much better than that. The girdle range is fine.
