Since I am not an expert at anything yet, I can point out a few things. First, run all those numbers found on the lab certificate through the HCA found above under TOOLS tab. This diamond scored a 5.0, GOOD--Only if price is your main criterion. Second, since it is graded an SI-2 clarity grade, it probably is not eyeclean. You really can't tell how a diamond will look just by looking at the inclusion map.I would pass on this diamond. I think you can find a diamond that out performs this one.Good luck on your search!

I'm not an expert by any means, but I think you could get a better diamond for a similar price from another vendor. I've just looked at James Allen for J/SI1 stones with excellent cut and they have these two for less than $8500:

1.43 ct = http://www.jamesallen.com/diamonds/J-SI1-Ideal-Cut-Round-Diamond-1443529.asp
1.5 ct = http://www.jamesallen.com/diamonds/J-SI1-Good-Cut-Round-Diamond-1445063.asp

They both look like they stand a better chance of being eye-clean, so it might be worth getting in touch and asking them to run ASETs for you. I've dealt with JA a lot in my search and they were incredibly helpful and honest.

Thanks so much for your responses!
