Hi everyone!
I am currently helping a friend find an oval cut stone for his gf's engagement ring. I only have experience with RBs, so I thought I would seek all of your help! His gf's criteria is that she wants as large a stone as possible, does not care about cut quality (although I am advising him otherwise...), white color, with no bowtie effect. His price range is probably around $8k for the stone, as she wants a setting with crescent or moon shaped side stones. I have done a search on PS's home page to search the online inventory, and the only way I can find a large enough stone is to go for a lower color with some fluorescence. In addition to not having experience with ovals, I also don't have experience with diamonds that have fluorescence (I only know that they may help lower color stones face up whiter). So any help would be greatly appreciated!!!
I found a couple of diamonds from the online search (not many have actual pictures), and I wanted your opinions on these particular diamonds and any tips on how to assess the cut quality and ASET/idealscope images of ovals based on their images.

This diamond has the ASET and idealscope images. It is an I color with medium blue fluorescence. It is also a VS2 with crystals listed first in the list of inclusions on the GIA report. Will it still appear eye clean? Especially with it being a larger diamond?

This is the second diamond which I included more for the size. If I am right, it appears to have a bow tie. Am I seeing that correctly? It is also an I color but with strong blue fluorescence.
Any suggestions, tips, or advice would be greatly appreciated!!! This is my first time with ovals and larger stones, and I just want to help my friend make an informed decision since his gf seems to only be concerned with size! IMHO it would be a waste to get a poor quality stone at that size, and I think many of you would agree! TIA!!!
