HCA likes it, if I''m being tough I''d say the arrows look a little skewed, but it looks good!
Ditto. It is a big stone!Date: 6/27/2008 6:52:23 PM

It looks great. Good angles, very nice IS pic, shows great light return. While it is not what we'd call a super, duper, louper, it will definitely be a very beautiful stone. I say go for it!
ETA, you will not see those arrows as being off in real life.![]()

I like it and the price is good. If you plug in 2.80 with the same specs you''ll see stones for $2K more. The same face up only deeper. I think it''s a heck of a sweet stone.

How do you know the price already?
The price I will be paying if I purchase the stone is $19,750. Thanks for the kind words everyone! Anymore comments before I make a big purchase (hopefeully the right one). I don''t want buyers remorse. lol.

Then you''re getting it from James Allen? I thought you were buying it through Whiteflash for $19,915. Did they price match James Allen?
Nope. I would listen to them. There are lots of stories on here about them advising someone to buy the cheaper stone because it was better for the person. It was either eyeclean, or just beautifully white or whatever. Bottom line, I have worked with them numerous times. I have shot the bull with Brian, John (when he was with WF) and a number of reps as well as AllisonD. I trust them to give me the straight skinny at all times.Date: 6/27/2008 9:17:29 PM

Thanks Shay.
Are there anymore questions I should ask, pictures I should ask for, etc. before making the final decision?
WhiteFlash says the stone is eye-clean, and faces up whiter than a J because of the superb cut. I know WhiteFlash has a great rep around here, but I also know they want to sell a diamond. Should I take what I''m told with a grain of salt?

My saying is if Brian called and said he needed to borrow my first born son for a week or two, I''d box him up and ship him. That''s how much I trust Brian and his opinion.

Good news! I''m dealing with Traci. She has assured me that many of the staff inspected the stone and they all think it is beautiful, faces up white, and eye-clean. Traci has been extremely helpful thus far!

I want good light performance, face up fairly white, eye clean. I know it isn''t a true H&A, I''m sure it would cost much more if it were. I want a well balanced stone without paying the premium of an ACA tag.

This just might be the ticket; looks pretty nice. BTW, what is their trade-up policy on stones they''ve ''called in''?
cheers--Sharon
I'm pretty sure you're correct, with the exception of EGL stones.Date: 6/28/2008 11:28:48 AM

If they call a stone in, and it doesn't meet their expectations then it doesn't qualify for the trade in policy. If it is a great stone and they recommend it then it does qualify. I need to confirm this still, but I am pretty sure.
Thanks for the great words so far everyone!! I'm getting excited
