I know you said you are working on questions, but this is so easy...#1 is the best! #3 didn't even make the cut to be considered since it is not eyeclean. And I'd far rather have an H with MBF than a brownish I color.
Do i totally trust what this guy is telling me? I worry that he is trying to push me towards the Med. Blue Flourescent diamond, just to sell it. I think it would be cool tho to have a blue diamond, don't get me wrong, thats why it is one of my 3.
What does it mean when he says it has a "brown hue." If it had a brown hue, wouldn't it then be classified as a different color?
This was the diamond i totally thought i was going to pick, now i'm a little disappointed.
These are all gia certified as excellent everything and the hca are respectively, .7 (med Blue), 1.3 (Big1), .8 (feather)
I also am inclined to prefer Stone #1 - but I am puzzled by the gemologist's comment that the stone "is not negatively impacted by its medium blue fluorescence in regular lighting" - Maybe this comment by the gemologist is meant to convey that, outside of UV light conditions, the stone is not impacted by the fluor - but if it were me, I'd ask the gemologist to clarify further, specifically I'd want a definition of "regular lighting" and the gemologist's opinion as to whether the stone is negatively impacted in *any* lighting.
