So I am looking to purchase an eRing and my girlfriend really like the style of the Vera Wang Love 3 stone ring. (pictures below) is there any setting out there that is similar/ more affordable? (does not have to have the stone underneath)

Thanks for any help at all!

I don't know how much the Vera wang ring is, but here is one shown with radiant cut center from james Allen. You could get it with princess center, too. The diamond is a separate purchase, and would be added onto the cost of the setting. There arent as many diamonds in the ja, but perhaps the quality is better? I think that is the case, but I'm not 100% positive. I'm just not familiar with the Vera wang brand in that regard. Maybe another ps'er can weigh in? Pretty design, though!

SparklySopranos choice is a good one. Do you require it to have three sided pave? That definitely adds to the cost (plus the Vera Wang name).

What is the cost of the Vera wang set?

The Vera Wang retails for 7,000 and comes with lower grade diamonds. It doesn't necessarily have to be a set. I am definitely going with a princess cut.

I will say I think that a lot of that cash is just for a name I care nothing about, hence why I'm looking for something similar.

Love the sapphire one, maccers! I also like the other victorian with all diamonds. It seems like webbt9 could definitely do better in terms of both price and quality. 8-)

Great links, looking for a princess cut though. Thanks for the continued help, still looking!

A lot of designs are avail for diff cuts. The vendor's listing should show what cuts are possibilities for the design. Most of the time you'll likely see round centers, but that doesn't mean you couldn't get the ring made for princess. You can always ask, too, even if design doesn't list it. Once I loved a setting made for round but had a marquise cut. The jeweler was able to switch the head and mount my stone. It doesn't always work that way though, so again you have to look and/or ask. ;)

Here's a setting from James Allen I quite like. They are having a sale that runs though the 14th. It gives you 15% off the setting. It would make it about 2200 in 14k

Notice the sides don't have millgraining. But last I asked, James Allen will add it for free of you want. Millgraining is that bumpy edge around the band of diamonds.

I would ask them if they could match the side stones to your center stone color (like for the ones I post. See of they could make the princess side stones h-i colors. They are pretty accommodating that way )

These are AGS ideals and you have would have no problem plopping any of them in that setting for a gorgeous ring. I tried to keep it around the same price as the vera Wang one... But if your budget is less we can look again

Webbt9 -

The links posted CAN almost all be done with princess cuts, so don't be put off by the round stones in the stock photos.

Pls don't go to Zales - the quality is horrible. Am guessing that Vera Wang is probably not a whole heap better. The James Allen settings posted by SparklySoprano and Niel would be wonderful.

Mrs blop- not a chance I was going to purchase from zales. One look at the description and I knew I could do a whole lot better it terms of quality. I was just having difficulty finding a setting that was close.
