Hi Everyone,

I need some help with this diamond:

1.17 carats
GIA Triple Ex
6.77 6.82 x 4.16
E, VS1
Depth: 61.2%
Table: 56%
Crown Angle: 34.5
Pavilion Angle: 40.8
Star Length: 45%
Lower Half: 75%
Thin to medium girdle
No culet
No fluourscence
1.2 on the HCA (ex, ex, ex, vg)

The diamond is from BN, so there are no photos available.

My main issue is with the Star Length of 45% and the 75% Lower Half.

I''m worried that the 45% Star Length is too small, and that it will impact the brilliance and fire of the diamond.

Am I correct?

Thanks.

I probably would be hesitant, but I asked the experts this question once before about 49% stars, and was told not to worry too much if everything else was great.

Probably nothing to worry about with the rounding of numbers by GIA. But an IS would be good.

I wouldn''t be too concerned but an image such as Idealscope would be useful, however this won''t be possible from BN.
