Please help for this diamond. I wold like to make decision this weekend. Thanks!

Is it a possible Heart and Arrow diamond seeing from all the numbers?
Is a Color G a big different than color F in any light envirnment?
Is VS2 safe? only some cloud and crystle around the top but not on the table.
another option is a 1.2 carat F VS1 HCA-1.4 with H&A at same price. I do want to trade off color and clarity to a bigger diamond. Is it worth to do so?

Measurement: 7.23-7.24-4.48

GIA Excellent, Excellent, Excellen
Color: G

Get a pic and an ASET image/idealscope image and you should be good. Awesome find

There is no such report available :(

possible, but we need a pic to confirm H&A.

Thanks! any thought on a G color on a relatively bigger (1.5 carat) diamond? and my other questions?

I think your initial diamond is fine. I can't really tell the difference between a G-H. Even I is kinda hard to tell by looking at it. J is where I would put my limit since I notice that yellow tint. Honestly, you can't tell there is color UNTIL you put the different grades side by side. Jewelers use a fancy machine or they have a standard they compare the diamonds with, meaning that the human eye probably cannot tell between a D, E, F,G, or H. Not only that, the color only really shows from the sides or upside down. Fluorescence can actually help a "worse"grade diamond. The setting can also drastically change the way color shows. In summation, there's no real point in buying a higher graded color (which I think is the least important vs cut and clarity), when you can't even tell.

As for VS2, it should be eye clean. You definitely need a pro/gemologist/jeweler to let you know but it sounds fine. You would need a certificate to let you know the location of those blemishes.

Most importantly, you need to focus on cut. If the diamond shimmers, then who cares what little color or blemishes there are if it's blinding you anyways. On paper, it sounds great. However, you definitely need a physical pic (so you can see the contrast, arrows, etc...) and an ASET/Idealscope. Otherwise you may have a nice diamond, but who knows how well it really is reflecting light or if it's a true hearts and arrows. If you google ASET Hearts and Arrows or Ideal Scope Hearts and Arrows, you'll see there's plenty of diamonds that look like the real deal but it would never make the cut. If you're going to purchase these diamonds, I hope the supplier/jeweler is extremely reliable and trustworthy since he/she can't provide images for you.

Hope this helps.

Thank you. I guess the main concern here is image Of diamond which is not really available.

I thought telling from all numbers it has given the info that it is a good cut. Therefore should have a good light return. Will it have a big difference in non-professional eyes of This diamond comparing to those with good scope image?

The numbers are pretty safe. Does it have a good return policy? Have it sent to you and return it if you don't
like it. You could also have a PS approved appraiser take a look at it.
