Hello, I need your opinions about this diamond from one of Pricescope vendors. Here's the stat from EGL report.
Carat: 2.17
Propotion:
Total Depth: 62.3%
Table Width: 57%
Crown Height: 15%
Pavillion Depth: 44%
Girdel Thickness: Thin Faceted
Finish:
Polish: Very Good
Symmetry: Excellent
Culet: None
Clarity Grade: VS1
Graining: NIL
Color Grade: H
Fluoresence: None
Comments:
*Excellent Ideal Cut. The quality of the cut of this diamond achieves Excellent in symmetry and propotions, thus obtaining the optimal dispersion of light and brilliance.
However, the diamond scores only 4.5 on HCA scale which is in conflict with comments stated in the EGL report above. What do you guys think? I'm aware that EGL is more linient in their grading than AGS and GIA but can it possibly be this bad when their ideal cut grading only gets fair rating from HCA? If this is the case, I would have to stick with GIA & AGS. Thank you in advance for any advice.
