Hello!
I am in desperate need of help. I am looking to propose very soon but all of this diamond stuff is giving me a headache! I never realized it could be so complicated.

My budget is about $3000-5000 for a diamond(not the setting).

My significant other is very traditional, and I plan on getting a round diamond on a solitaire setting.

Based upon my research here, I am planning to buy from whiteflash but may consider a local vendor?

I am looking for a round diamond that will fit nicely on a simple white gold setting with 4 or 6 prongs. I prefer a better cut over carat but I have been told that it would look too small in a 4 or 6 prong setting? I was leaning towards around 0.7 carats, but should I go up to a 1 carat and forego quality?

Does anyone one have any recommendations for a diamond/setting from whiteflash or another site? I am so confused on how to choose one.

Thank you!!

Also I am a bit hesitant to order something so expensive online... what happens if I never receive the diamond/ it gets stolen?

I'm actually dying for some nice guy to buy this one for
his FF.....

A Tiffany and Co E-Ring AND Wedding Band,
all nice and polished up....

I am pretty sure JBEG would be thrilled for you !!!

and probably work with you...

That is their top of the line cut, I don't know if this is an error in pricing but for an extra 160 I would do this stone

I actually really this stone farmer gal has suggested. What is your gf's finger size? I have a .70 ct in a simple 4 prongs and my size is 4.25 and I definitely don't think it's too small at all. I like quality over carat too as my diamond is G, VS2, AGS Ideal cut. Good luck with your search!
